Mars image looks cool. I'd really like to see it taken up a notch by breaking out of the simplicity. The landscape almost has as much detail as the truck, and it fights with the truck for the viewers attention. I think if you modeled some narly/nubby wheels on there, and stepped on some details it would look even sicker.
You could simplify the backgroud, but personally I would like to see you step up the detail on the truck. It will take the image from being a good thumbnail to a great image.
